About

Kyle Womelduff is a filmmaker, theatre artist, and multi-media professional working between Kansas City, Missouri and New York, NY. While skilled in many areas of video creation and live production, he specializes in videography and editing. Kyle received an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Metropolitan Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies with film & media arts emphasis and a theatre arts minor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While attending school at UMKC, he took a student job as a scene shop carpenter in the university’s theatre department. This led to years of contract work as a scenic carpenter for many of KC’s largest theatrical companies, including a few projects with IATSE local 31. During this period of growth as a student, he also started freelancing as a videographer for small businesses and non-profit projects. In his last year of school he took a seasonal staff position with the Kansas City Royals for their in-house video coverage and game entertainment. Kyle is constantly adding crew credits from film and TV productions shot around the Midwest and NYC. He worked with the production department for the CBS live-broadcast of the 2022 Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and he works part of the year as a video technician and operator for the New York Times Center.
